    The energy recovery system converts kinetic energy into electrical energy during an overrun or braking phase. When the car accelerates again, the battery feeds the temporarily stored energy back into the vehicle‘s electrical system. This relieves the load on the alternator, thereby saving fuel.

    The start-stop system helps to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by switching off the engine when the vehicle is stationary, e.g. at traffic lights. For an optimum restart, the start process is initiated as soon as the foot brake is released. Can be deactivated at any time at the touch of a button.
